Alpha Group takes its name from the Russian CT special operations force formed by the KGB in 1974. The mod contains weapons and uniforms from both the Soviet era and present day Russia.

There are 17 new primary weapons and 19 uniforms as well as various other enhancements including new reticules, pistols, character models, and new training terrorist skin and kits.

The new primary weapons are the meat of the mod however and consist of 8 AK weapons, 2 Bizons and one each of RPD, Dragunov SVD, Saiga, Makarov and Makarov P6.

The new uniforms are Blue Urban, Desert ,DPM, Green Tiger , Reed , Sniper, Taiga , 3 Colour , Soviet Brown Woodland, Soviet Green Woodland and Soviet Airborne

From start to finish I liked this mod. Easily installed and activated, and every weapon a pleasure to despatch tangos with. It took several nights to try all the weapons though, as I couldn't put that splendid Bizon SMG down! Every one of the weapon models look and sound the part, each looking very solid and "heavy".

As you can see from the screenshots the uniforms are also excellent, and make a pleasant change to the default uniforms.

To summarise, at a time when other (albeit larger) weapon mods are being released with several acknowledged "issues" it was great to download this pack and basically "plug and play".

• Download Exe to any folder
• Mod Autoinstalls to RS/Mods folder
  

• Launch Urban Operations
• Select Alpha Group from Options>Mods
• Disable Default Primary, Secondary and Uniforms
