What you'll need

• An image editor (like Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop)
• A text editor (like notepad)

You can either design your own armpatch or download an image you like from the internet. The finished image size must be 64 pixels square, as shown below.

The armpatch must be saved in Targa format, with the .tga extension, as shown below.

If you are using Adobe Photoshop a window will popup asking for the bit resolution, select 24bits/pixel.

If you are using Paint Shop Pro, you should open the options dialog from the save window, and select uncompressed.

Save the patch to the Armpatches folder in the Raven Shield folder using a filename of 8 or less characters.

Open the user.ini file which can be found in the \Save\Profiles folder in the Raven Shield folder, as shown below.

Scroll down to the bottom of the file and a few lines up you'll see a line that starts "ArmPatchTexture=".

Put the full filename for your new patch after the "=". Make sure the line next to that reads "UseArmPatch=True", save the file and that's it!
