This is an awesome mod that you should be downloading as
you read this. The texture work and attention to detail
is superb. Right from the superb look of the map, down to
the glowing skull cursor this mod has "polished"
written all over it. It looks great and sounds great, but
how does it play?
In single player on "Ultra-violence" difficulty
the missions on both maps will not be completed easily.
If your first outing on these maps is in single player do
not expect to see the whole map on the first, second, or
perhaps even third attempt; these Zombies may be walking
dead - but they are not willing to return to their maker
for a second time!
Multiplayer games are great fun too. Campers will have
a hard time because of the potential of attack from many
angles due to the large open window areas. The layouts are
also conducive to good MP play as they are not huge sprawling
corridor affairs, but tightly knit medium sized rooms with
plenty of opportunity for Close quarter combat.
One of the maps has even been tweaked with an extra corridor
to enhance the multiplayer game.
One beta tester remarked it was so atmospheric he was "looking
for power-ups and the shotgun"!
